The Orphanage in Bulumwaki |
| Wednesday, September 20, 2006 |
Ok, here we go ... the first blog by Schas ... time for me to enter the techie age ... bear with me, this could be ugly ...
I feel so honored and priveliged to be asked to join God in His amazing work in Uganda ... He has been very very busy ... ophans in Bulumwaki looking healthier than ever before ... clean water for the first time in Naigobya ... medicines and bandages in the clinic in Bulumwaki ... mosquito nets in Bogono ...to see three chruch plants off of the congregation in Bulumwaki and another three off of the church in Nakabango blew my mind ... Our partners here on the ground are simply incredible ... their servant hearts are so apparent ... they love the villages and the villages love them ...
I also glow inside when I see my two MN buds interacting with Ugandans ... Troy playing with kids, making faces and sounds, and the laughter that ensues ... and watching him tear up at the ophanage in Bulumwaki ... and then Paul, the love pouring out of his eyes and the obvious affection he has for all he meets ... holding hands with the ophan girl ...
What an privelige to serve an AWESOME God ... to draw closer to brothers and sisters on another continent ... how humbling to serve alongside obviously annoited parters ... what an honor to serve with two men who share a love of Christ and a love of His wonderful children in Uganda ...
