Next Visit – November 2008 |
| Friday, October 31, 2008 |
One week after the container is shipped, Mike, Paul and Janet leave Minnesota for Uganda. Fortunately, they will get there a lot sooner than the container. They will be gone November 20-29.
These are the current goals/plans for the trip:
- Worship together at the new Naigobya Gathering Place.
- Deliver much needed medical equipment to the Naigobya Health Center.
- Visit the Naigobya Orphan School.
- Deliver four sewing machines and fabric to begin the Kyabazala Sewing Training.
- Deliver bibles and Mosquito netting to the villages of Kyabazala and Kabuli.
Current Needs:
Our needs for medical equipment have been met by generous contributions from Global Health Ministries (www.ghm.org) and also McKesson, Corp.
Our needs for sewing machines have also been met by many of our friends with a passion for this training project.
We are still in need of monetary donations to purchase bibles ($8 each) and mosquito netting ($10 each). Our goal is to cover as many families as possible with these items that bring life and hope.
If you would like to contribute, please send donations to:
